Elaina Alspach is a dance artist; performer, choreographer, and teacher, based in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Texas Woman’s University, with a BA in Dance Studies and a minor in Business Entrepreneurship. It was there that she studied dance performance, choreography, and developed a love for teaching. Elaina has now been a local dance teacher at multiple competitive studios for over 4 years. She finds great pride in educating her students on the art of dance. Elaina is also a lead collaborating artist of Very Good Dance Theatre in Dallas, Texas. Here she has participated in collaborative works centered on experimental dance and theatre featured throughout the Dallas area.
In addition, Elaina serves as a performing company member and social media manager for the Danielle Georgiou Dance Group. With DGDG, she has participated in and documented multiple performances centered on contemporary dance and physical theatre in surrounding Texas cities such as Dallas, Fort-Worth, Waco, and Houston. She enjoys exploring her interests in storytelling and ideas on mainstream media through DGDG’s mission of “creating innovative, accessible works of dance and theatre,” as well as through DGDG’s social media accounts.
